Beneteau First 30

Upon its introduction, the Beneteau First 30 was immediately recognised with the European Yacht of the Year 2026 Award in the Performance Cruiser category — a prize that immediately underscores its fast, driven character and thoughtful design. This is a sailing yacht that stands out because it sails quickly and intuitively, but also offers ample opportunity for relaxed cruising.

This new model follows in the footsteps of the original First 30 from 1977, a boat that helped shape Beneteau's history. With a length of 10.33 m and a displacement of only 3,150 kg, this is a light and dynamic boat that planes effortlessly and gives you pure sailing pleasure.

On deck

On deck, everything revolves around overview and simplicity. The cockpit feels spacious and logically laid out, with rigging that you quickly understand, even when the pace picks up.

You can configure the First 30 to suit your sailing style. The cruising version features larger winches and ergonomic controls, while the racing version has a mainsail traveller for tighter trim. In both cases, the feel remains the same: direct, responsive and lively.

Below deck

Below deck, the First 30 is deliberately light and functional, but with noticeably more attention to comfort and finish than previous generations. Everything you need is there, cleverly integrated and nicely executed. The interior feels well-kept and modern, with just that extra bit of luxury that makes longer trips more enjoyable, without detracting from the sporty character.

It shows that performance and comfort can go hand in hand, as long as everything is in balance. The finish is sleek and modern, with an eye for weight and functionality.

The First 30 was developed in collaboration with Seascape, with Samuel Manuard as naval architect and Lorenzo Argento for the design. A team with an impressive track record within the First line.

A planing performance cruiser that offers just as much fun during a competitive race as during a fast, sporty trip with the family.
