The First 36 SE is the pure, sporty evolution of the First 36. A 36-foot performance cruiser that raises the bar for speed, planing, and sailing feel. Thanks to a reduction of approximately 400 kg compared to the standard First 36, the emphasis is even more on agility, acceleration, and lively sailing characteristics.

It responds immediately to every gust of wind. The rudder and smaller wet surface area provide the connection to the wind that you look for in a true performance yacht. This is sailing where wind power and steering feel reinforce each other.

On deck

On deck, everything revolves around directness and overview. The tiller provides maximum feedback and control, especially when the pace picks up. The cockpit is open and functional, with a layout that suits active sailing and fast maneuvers.

Everything is focused on performance. Less weight, more grip, and a sharp deck setup that is perfect for sporty sailing and ORC racing. Yet the boat remains manageable and logical, even shorthanded. The First 36 SE demands attention, but rewards you with speed and confidence.

Below deck

Below deck, the First 36 SE remains surprisingly usable. The light, open layout with three cabins has been retained, but with a focus on weight and functionality. No excess, just everything you need to be comfortable on board, even outside the race course.

The saloon is practical, the cabins are truly usable, and smart material choices keep the weight down without compromising on comfort. This is not a bare-bones racing boat, but a performance yacht that also performs well on the water.
