Over dit Jacht
This beautiful sailing yacht, with its remarkable design, is the natural link between the First 36 and First 53. It combines sailing performance, elegance, and comfort thanks to the high quality of its equipment, offering unparalleled sailing pleasure.
With the new FIRST 44, BENETEAU approaches the term “racer/cruiser” in the purest sense: thanks to its generous sail plan, the First 44 is a lively and efficient sailor in all conditions.
Deck layout and rigging
The FIRST 44 is available in two versions, FIRST 44 and FIRST 44 PERFORMANCE, with a distinctive deck layout and rigging, different keel variants, and mast versions.
In the FIRST 44 version, the cockpit is particularly comfortable with an attractive cockpit table and level access to the wide gangways. Four winches, a centrally located mainsheet block, and a mast positioned further aft maximize the potential of the modern sail plan, characterized by a smaller mainsail and generously sized headsails.
Two 300-liter ballast tanks, which can be filled from the helm via an electric pump, make it possible to maintain the boat's full potential.
he ergonomics of the FIRST 44 PERFORMANCE deck have been thoroughly studied and developed with full-crew racing in mind. This includes an upgrade of the deck hardware and sail trim systems, which are fully tailored to racing. In addition, there are foam rubber anti-slip surfaces that replace the teak on the cockpit floor, six well-placed trim winches, and a large sheet traveller.
Interior design
The First 44 offers a streamlined interior that is modern and light, with a mix of white lacquered surfaces, beautiful wooden curves, and tasteful upholstery.
The First 44 comes with three cabins with two wet rooms. The interior is finished with high-quality materials to create a refined atmosphere.
In the saloon, the multifunctional table seats six people and overlooks the sofa and navigation seat; the layout simplifies mobility between the galley and the owner's cabin and enhances the feeling of space.
